PiLink Digital Mirror System Upgrade

This upgrades your PiLink so that it can act as a Digital Mirror System, providing a digital rear view "mirror".  Geared towards racers, this is an always on virtual mirror that outputs to a display attached to your PiLink (you must of course provide the display).  It also always records video footage (without audio) which can be useful for incident review.

If ordered with PiLink your system will be assembled and ready for use.

Included:

  • DMS Camera  - Water Resistant Camera with replaceable plexiglass lens cover, with mounting style options including a flat back (you provide the mounting solution), or GoPro style tabs in your choice of mounts.  If GoPro mounts are selected an M6 style mount will also be included.
  • DMS Camera Receiver - Needs installation inside your PiLink.  Instructions included.
  • 10ft. HDMI cable - to connect your camera to your PiLink
  • 16GB USB Drive - Preconfigured for PiLink.  Enough well over 125 minutes of rolling video footage.


Note - You must have a screen to use this product.  John Freund Racing sells a very nice 7" 1920x1200 resolution display perfect for use with this product, but you can also get away with smaller dimensions and or lower resolution displays and they are generally good enough for use a digital rear view mirror.  Remember though PiLink is only compatible with HDMI displays!

This product is MADE TO ORDER.  I do not keep inventory, so I will need to order all these components after you place your order.  Please be patient.  This means I am subject to current parts availability though I will communicate any delays with you.

Warranty

6 Month warranty against defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions. Free software updates for life. John Freund Racing LLC agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase.
